Below is the monthly progress as I worked on it:
![]() |
Description: Month 1- I've attached the many (MANY!) beads at center with 'invisible' quilting thread and am working this on Sugar Maple Fabric's Desert Island (28 ct).
Month 2- Month 2- not beaded yet- the corners are absolutely lovely, the colors complement each other perfectly evoking a fresh, garden feel :o)
Still catching up- this is most of the stitching through Month 4. I need to finish the rice stitch border and add the Jessica stitches in the outside edges then I will be on to the beading.
Started on the beading- here's a close-up view of the side I've got finished:
Finishing up part 5 (the beaded iris corners):

Nearly finished with part 6- I decided to save my last beaded iris corner as a reward for myself when I've slogged through all of this backstitching:

Shhh! I screwed up- I didn't realize that this section (the small buildings on either side of the central building) was to be divided into 2 sections and, since the whole thing was graphed completely on section 9, I just treated it as 1. The good news is- I'm farther along that I probably should be LOL! Part 10: Part 11:
Part 12:
Finally Finished (click to see the BIG picture): Just to give you an idea of how I'm planning to frame it- it will be the marina blue and indigo but with a white mat between them:
This shows the marina blue and indigo but no white (the site won't let me triple mat). This shows the indigo and the white.
