All club charts are shipped via PCStitch Viewer 7 downloads. The Viewer is a free download itself made available from PCStitch. If you would like to get the viewer (Or update your current one) you may do so by visiting their site here: LINK

If you have an earlier version of the viewer than 7 you will have difficulty opening your charts so I encourage everyone to update :o)

Please note- the information on their site is not required to download the Viewer but it is helpful to them in continuing to develop the software. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with installing software be assured that is *very* easy- just click on "Download" and then, when given the choice of "Save to" or "Open from source", select "Open from source" and the Viewer will (painlessly) install itself for you. After your free software is installed you will be able to simply click on the download and it will open automatically for you.

NOTE FOR PM USERS: If you already have Pattern Maker or the viewer software for Pattern Maker installed on your computer you should be aware that these two companies both use the same extension (.pat) for their files. Whichever one was most recently installed will open (or try to open) all .pat files so if you download one of the Viewers and can't get files from the other one to work this is what you do:

Open the program you are trying to use- for PCStitch files open PCStitch, for Pattern Maker files open Pattern Maker, save the file you are trying to open to your computer desktop, using the 'open' function of your program locate the file you are trying to open and double-click it. It should open up just fine for you that way. You haven't changed the file or program in any way- you've only specified which one you want to use to open that particular file.
